Not all that long ago most people in Toledo, OH didn't know what facebook or twitter was.  Over the past year that has dramatically changed.  With all of the media buzz about social networking also referred to as social media, it is hard to ignore it.  There has been an amazing shift in internet awareness because of these two sites. 

Hi Octane Solutions has been helping small businesses in the Toledo, OH and SE Michigan area since 2006 and a lot has changed with internet marketing in general.  Our primary focus at the beginning was serving franchise auto dealers around the Toledo area.  Eventually one thing led to another and we began servicing many different types of small businesses including retail stores, service companies/contractors and restaurants as well as creating a  fantastic relationship with a local Chamber of Commerce.  It has always been a struggle to explain all that Hi Octane Solutions offers and the many ways we are able to help businesses primarily because of a general fear and/or lack of knowledge of all the internet has to offer causing us to constantly try different marketing angles.

Hi Octane Solutions and the Sylvania Chamber of Commerce have set dates through February for upcoming member marketing education seminars.  Hi Octane plans to focus on many marketing topics over the next five months and we will feature different industry professionals each month to help make more sense of small business marketing.  Check back for content/speaker information shortly.   The seminars have been set for the following dates through early 2010:

Today we attended the SMBToledo #6 - Business Power Tools seminar.  It was a very informative and entertaining seminar put on by Charlie Wollborg from Curve Detroit.   The agenda focused on more of an intermediate user's approach to social network marketing.  The topics discussed were LinkedIn, Facebook, Google and YouTube.  Charlie had some great ideas and we even picked up a couple new tidbits to help our clients market better through social media.  It once again goes to show that nobody ever knows everything about social media marketing and it is worthwhile to attend these types of events whenever possible no matter what your skill level may be.  Thanks Charlie for a great seminar!

It was great meeting all of the attendees of the two internet marketing seminars held this week on Search Engine Optimiztion, Social Networking, Online Reputation Management and Email Marketing at the Wingate Hotel in Downtown Sylvania.  With a great turnout both days and actually filling the boardroom to capacity on Thursday, we have decided to put together an ongoing marketing series for Chamber members.  We plan to put on a new seminar at least once a month about different internet and general marketing topics to help assist those who want to become better marketers.  We plan to bring in special guest speakers from the area to share marketing experience and insight for these upcoming seminars.   Be sure to watch your email for upcoming seminar dates.  Also look for future dates on our website as we take these seminars to other areas around Toledo as well!

Hi Octane Solutions in cooperation with The Sylvania Area Chamber Of Commerce is hosting two internet seminars for Chamber Members at the Wingate Hotel in Downtown Sylvania.  The seminars will cover two topics each day and lunch will be provided to attendees.

It has been quite a while since we have posted an update.   Hi Octane Solutions has helped many Toledo, OH & SE Michigan area businesses launch new websites over this past summer.

Thank you all for attending our first Internet Marketing Seminar hosted by The Sylvania Area Chamber Of Commerce.  Seminar attendance exceeded our expectations with over 20 guests!  It was a pleasure meeting everyone and learning about your unique businesses and the challenges you are all facing in this tough economy.  Hi Octane Solutions looks forward to working with many of you in the future.  The seminar was such a success that we are already planning an encore for sometime in March.  We plan on conducting several more seminars in the Toledo area over the upcoming months.  Check back on our website for updates.
